Shippensburg Produce and Outreach (SPO) is a faith-based nonprofit that provides fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, milk and other healthy items to those in the Shippensburg community who qualify.
SPO distributes produce and other fresh items every Tuesday reaching a total of over 1500 families each month in the Shippensburg community. Our organization also participates in other outreach programs throughout the Shippensburg Area School District. We aim to provide healthy food choices to meet the nutritional needs of those who qualify for assistance in the community. Our organization targets working families facing food insecurities, those with mental/physical disabilities, and the senior population in Cumberland and Franklin Counties of the Shippensburg Area School District.
